Here is how to organize your five paragraph essay.
Paragraph one the introductory paragraph:
This paragraph will state a minimum of three changes you noticed in your pH data and on the two maps.
Paragraph two a supporting paragraph:
Change #1: What was one pH change and why do you think it happened. (back up your idea with supporting facts from the pictures, data, vocabulary, and background information)

Paragraph three a second supporting paragraph:
Change #2: What was a second change and why do you think it happened. (back up your idea with supporting facts from the pictures, data, vocabulary, and background information)

Paragraph four a third supporting paragraph:
Change #3: What was a third change and why do you think it happened. (back up your idea with supporting facts from the pictures, data, vocabulary, and background information)



The final summary paragraph:
Here are some different ways you could close. Start by restating the changes you mentioned in paragraphs 2, 3, and 4. Then draw a conclusion using one of the suggestions below or you might have a better idea of how to close your essay.
a. You should suggest some solutions to the problems.
b. You could state you opinion about the seriousness of the problem.
c. Describe how you would feel living at the lake.
d. You could predict what you think will happen if things continue.
e. You could describe what it would feel like for a tree, or animal, or the lake to go through the changes.
