The Diet Coke and Mentos Experiment Video

http://eepybird.com/dcm1.html

"What happens when you combine 200 liters of Diet Coke and over 500 Mentos mints? It's amazing and completely insane.

The first part of this video demonstrates a simple geyser, and the second part shows just how extreme it can get. Over one hundred jets of soda fly into the air in less than three minutes.

It's a hysterical and spectacular mint-powered version of the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, brought to you by the mad scientists at EepyBird.com."

How does it work?

There has been a lot of discussion online about why Diet Coke and Mentos make such an interesting combination.  What everyone can agree on is that the carbon dioxide that has been compressed into the soda escapes so rapidly that the pressure pushes the soda out of the bottle.  It's like shaking a bottle before you open it, but even more dramatic.

Morrison Labs World Headquarters

http://maps.google.com/

This is a fun new website. Try typing in an address and then click on the Satellite button in the upper right corner and you can get a real satellite photo of that address! You can zoom in as close as the picture on the left. Not all areas have the satellite photo, but most areas that I tried worked.

The actual Google maps are also alot better than Mapquest.

This is a fun page. Just touch any bear with your mouse arrow and you will cause that bear to fall. See what happens when certain bears fall and how they effect the whole pyramid. Don't worry though; they will always rebuild their bear pyramid.
