Recently students at morrisn labs used our school's new set of wireless laptops to investigate the states of matter, volume and density. The laptop computers send a signal through the air to a base station that is connected to the Internet. This allowed 14 laptop computers to be on-line visiting an Internet site at the same time. The site the students visited is called ExploreScience.com and it has lots of cool interactive demos and experiments.

It's like bringing a portable lab to your classroom. We plan to do this again to try out the density experiments soon.
